Quisqueya and sister brand Soberana are made by the Cerveceria Vegana S.A. Company in the Dominican Republic city of La Vega in the Cibao Valley. The name of the beer comes from the Taino word meaning “Mother Earth.” You will also hear a lot of Dominicans describing the island as “quisqueya”.Quisqueya is a Pilsner type beer with a very bubbly body. 6% alcohol by volume and available through out the Dominican Republic in 12 oz bottles.
