Brahma is a recent addition to the cerveza scene in the Dominican Republic. Brahma is a pale lager, best served chilled, with a 4.8% alcohol content. It’s a Brazillian beer created by Joseph Villager in 1888, Brahma is the most popular beer in Brazil found everywhere from the backstages of Rio to the beaches of Sao Paulo. Brahma went worldwide in 2004 and is now very popular in the Dominican Republic.
